I've worked with Protractor for almost 2 years now. They are honest, local people that care and get the job done right. Remodeling always presents unforeseen issues or mistakes, and what I love most is these guys rolled with the punches and delivered on what they promised, 100% of the time. They owned any mistakes they made and fixed them. I've since hired them several times now for various properties. The review below by Jessica P is factually inaccurate also. Circumstantially, I was actually the project manager for the condo HOA on this particular rehab job. It's how I met Protractor. Yes, it's true the roof was in process of replacement when the July 2025 floods happened and destroyed this unit. What's inaccurate is Protractor offered to handle 100% of the problem without having to even involve insurance. They would handle it out of pocket and there was no need to contact insurance if the owner didn't want to. Insurance just would slow the process. She clearly interpreted that differently. Many in the community view Jessica P (also not her real name) to be a bit "higher maintenance" individual around the community in my experience. I wouldn't read too much into that review if you're a practical person. Would hire again, you should give them a chance to earn your business.

I have used Protractor for two jobs and I can’t recommend them enough. They are reasonably priced, quick to respond and extremely professional. Katie, Nemo and their entire team communicate regularly and set expectations accordingly. You will not be disappointed in their work.

Protractor has professionally renovated, repaired and reroofed our home in 2020. They also reskinned, rebuilt decks and walkways and painted our entire five story condominium building on Pearl Street in Austin, TX in 2010. John Susan and the entire Protractor team have a great reputation as a quality contractor that stands behind their work for many years. The same attention to detail and customer service we experienced 15 years ago on a large commercial job still exists today at Protractor for our homestead. Protractor literally worked hand-in-glove with our stucco contractor to ensure the TPO roof overlapped the Santa Fe style parapet wall to create an impenetrable barrier prior to the Delta Drywall system installation and stucco exterior application. John Susan's expertise, extensive commercial building experience and extra effort to forever stop all leaks was impressive! Most importantly, the entire Protractor team worked hard to make our home watertight and it remains in perfect condition today.

I’ve had many projects done by Pro Tractor Services over several years i.e. - fencing, siding, fixing support posts for patio cover, electrical work, plumbing, window and facia replacement after recent hail storms, pressure washing! I worked with Geoff on these projects and have been very pleased with the responsiveness and communication he provided. Also - if there were any questions or issues - he was available no matter what time of the day I reached out. I highly recommend Pro Tractor Services for any work/improvement projects you may need done.

Working with John Susan at ProTractor Austin was a fantastic experience that exceeded all my expectations. I hired him to remodel my house and he transformed my house into a dream home! I got a referral from my mom as she lives in the same neighborhood as the owner of Protractor. Apparently, Protractor has done some good work on homes in her neighborhood over the years. The owner, John, has a big personality and is super personable so we liked him right away. After months of going back and forth and trying to figure out exactly what I wanted for the remodel, we finally got work started in January. I am super picky, detailed, like low maintenance materials, and have high expectations for how things should be done and Protractor was flexible and worked with me to make sure my needs were met. Hardly anyone requests stone panel walls in their shower, but the Protractor team was up for the challenge. If I called, text, or emailed about an issue, the assistant, Maisie, always got back to me right away. Now that our bathroom shower is complete, we are above thrilled!! We used to close the bathroom door to avoid looking at our nasty 1990’s shower tile, but not anymore. What’s better is that I have zero grout lines to clean!
